"Chicago's Punk Rock at its finest. This album is a top favorite for the year."
Quitters Never Win is a Winner

""Quitters Never Win" is one of the best album releases of last year. Much the Same is probably the most underrated Chicago band that has ever played a show. This new album shows their growth and progression from their first album "Caught Off Guard" when they were known as Don't Look Down under Tank Records. The Breakdown:
hile listening to this CD, your are gurranteed to fall in love with at least 3 songs. A good one of them would be he followin#1 WISH - This is song is perfect to be a begining track on an album. The guitars parts are great, the basslines are solid, and the drums do a good job but it was the bridge on this song that makes it incredible.#4 Liar - This song also appeard on the "Caught Off Guard" album, but it's re-make on "Quitters Never Win" made it that much better. The basslines and the bass fills on this song is like no other. The guitars and drums plays solid complicated parts but the vocal structure on this song makes it an instant hit.#5 Masquerade - This song is solid all around but it's the message that makes this song my favorite on the album."
GREAT cd

"Much the Same is an awesome power-punk band! Quitters Never Win is an excellent CD, with lyrics that are event-specific and can apply to everyone. They harmonize and scream, they are very versatile.
If you ever get a chance to see them live, do it. They are amazing. They are very appreciative of support at shows, and play for a crowd of 2 like there were 5000 people in the room. They are the nicest people I have ever met, and aren't at all arrogant about what they do.
My favorite song on the CD is number 3, New Years. The energy contained in the song is inspiring, and the vocals are very emotional (not emo, not whiney, emotional).
If you like bands like NOFX, Rise Against, or Strung Out, you'll love Much the Same."
