"if what was said was more than words, youll have a hard time finding it here. sXe music for the sXe. songs about: drug abuse, friendship, and betrayal; all new themes for this genre. this is the best chain of strength record chain of strength never made."

"i picked this up quite awhile ago, but thought a new review of this was in order. mouthpiece was a great hardcore band in the early-mid 90's out of NJ. they really helped keep more traditional hardcore alive during that time, when alot of (vegan) metal bands were popping up.

i find it very hard to describe them acurately, because i can never really think of a band to compare them to. alot of people have said Chain of Strength, but this comparison is pretty inacurate. mouthpiece spoke very personally, as did Chain, however, mouthpiece created this dark atmosphere that Chain did not really do. the atmosphere is really amazing on this release and on all other mouthpiece releases as well.

oh ya...and despite the fact that mouthpiece was a bonafide straight edge band, their lyrics are not cheesy or cliche at all. the word "straight edge" is not even mentioned once. this is very personal stuff, and things which do not just apply to straight edge kids. get this."
