Synopsis

Album Description
2 CD set. The first disc features Iron Fist, which is another barrage of Motorclassics with production this time overseen by guitarist 'Fast' Eddie Clarke and Will Reid Dick. Unfortunately the album also saw the classic Motorhead line-up of 'Fast' Eddie (guitars), Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister (bass/vocals) and Phil (Philthy Animal) Taylor (drums) also splintering soon after, as Clarke took his leave citing 'musical differences' as grounds for his departure. Iron Fist, nevertheless, is a twelve-fingered mutation of an album with a clutch of gem studded tracks like 'Heart Of Stone', 'Go To Hell', 'Loser', and of course the title track all reaching out to squeeze the living breath from all those who dare to hop aboard the Motorhead express. The second disc features single b-sides, alternative versions, outtakes, rarities, BBC Session and In-Concert material as well as live tracks. Sanctuary. 2005.

"Let me 1st off say , that how can you go wrong with any of the 1st 5 or 6 motorhead albums ?? Overkill , Bomber , another perfect day etc. stellar , the band has always Delivered great Metal anthems , i also highly state go out & get the new album "Motorizer" ..... now onto these 2 cd re-issues , both these 2009 & the 2006 "Remasters" are just awfull , ton's of high end harsh digital overtones , way overcompressed with sound lacking just trying to get these cd's louder , what a shame .... the band sounds all squished together , there is no longer seperation within the tracks , note to record label , running a cd through some automated laptop program is not a "remaster" the idea is to try & get these to sound better ! .... I am quite mad that i bought 3 of the 2 cd versions & they all are just too harsh when turned up loud , too bad as i love these albums .... if you need your Motorhead fix seek out the single cd versions , most of those have some bonus tracks & have some good low-end & sound halfway decent , Sanctuary records should send me my $$$ back as i will not be listening to these ...... too bad , these albums are amazing & someone dropped the ball ."
