MorissonPoe's debut national release, entitled "Evolution" is a hybrid blend of Alternative Rock elements, Electronica influences, immaculate musicianship and a searing female vocal, reminiscent of Prince meets Tina Turner. The foursome hails from Raleigh, NC and South Florida, since they couldn't make up their mind.
The albums first single "Love Is A Battlefield", a remake of the classic Pat Benatar anthem, shows the bands keen ability to make music their own, and to move in and out of tempos and moods. The single also boasts a video, produced by TwinFire Media and directed by Rey Gutierrez, shot on location in and around Raleigh, NC, showing off the bands decadent lifestyle and giving this classic song a totally new meaning.
"EVOLUTION" also has new versions of the bands inclusions into Microsoft's XBOX 360 game, Perfect Dark Zero. The intro song, entitled "Glitter Girl *Evil Side*" and the closing credits song "Pearl Necklace".
