CD Reviews

The definition of HARDCORE Hip Hop
Samario C. Oliver | VA | 10/01/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Well, seeing as how not many reviews were written, it looks like a lot of people slept on this, we'll WHY?! This is one of the few hip hop albums that's real.
1. Crimetime 1-718:Nice intro, it has a good beat a little but of rhyming 9/10
2. Rugged Neva Smoove:This joint has a banging beat, and M.O.P. is just blazing 10/10
3. Ring Ding:I like this track right here, every time I hear it I just go ring ding mother... 9/10
4. Heistmasters:Telling a very good story of robbing banks, with a fast paced beat 9/10
5. Blue Steel:Now this is one of my favorite tracks. M.O.P. spittin mad about guns of course 10.10
6. Who Is M.O.P.?:Skit(the're the survivors of the last generation)
7. To the Death:Now this has a tite beat, and M.O.P. of course bringing it raw 10/10
8. Big Mal:I don't really listen to this track much, but it's aite 7/10
9. Top of the Line:It has somewhat of a jazz tone in it. It's pretty good 9/10
10. This Is Your Brain:Skit
11. Drama Lord:My favorite track of the whole thing. It may be short, but the beat is banging, and so is M.O.P.
12. F.A.G. (Fake Ass Gangsta):This is what M.O.P. likes to call snitches, rats, narcs, and cowards 9/10
13. How About Some Hardcore:This track was tite. It wasn't as hardcore as the other ones, but It was a music video tho 10/10
14. Positive Influences(Skit)
15. Guns N Roses:This CD goes out nicley. This track was hard, and M.O.P. is just ill, like in all their other tracks 10/10Man I can garantee you, M.O.P. to this day doesn't have that fake stuff pop rappers have, they keep it real, and hardcore. I bet they can destroy any pop-rapper that talks about them even once. Anyone who says the rap music on the radio is tite, man, the're just as fake as the rappers. If you love Pop-Rap, Can't say you gonna like this, but to those who love real hop hop, should have this, or go get it.peace"

HOT UNDERGROUND HARDCORE
03/30/1999
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This is M.O.P.'s first album, which was released in the early 90's. This is one of the best hardcore underground rap album's I ever heard. I've been looking for this cd for a while and couldn't find it anywhere. This cd is filled with blazin tracks and tight beats and I think every real hardcore rap fan will love this album."
