American artist and composer Monte Cazazza is best know for his seminal role in helping shape the early landscapes of industrial music in the mid 1970's. Buliding up an underground reputation as a particularly volatile performer with dangerous and antiscocial aesthetic. His later recodings with Throbbing Gristle in 1977 are highly regarded among collectors. This is a collection of his work. Mute 2007.

DELIGHTFULLY DERANGED

"This album is filled with twisted gems about torture, mutilation, sex, execution, and all sorts of fun stuff. Any fan of Throbbing Gristle or other early industrial music will love this. A cool thing to have in your collection to make your girlfriend sick."

Fun and amusing, but hard to find.

"I like this album. It's funny and enjoyable, although I'm sure that was not the intent. Anyway, its a nice chronicle of some early Industrial music. Throbbing Gristle provides the music for a few of the tracks, while Monte does the vocals. Some of the other stuff was by a kind of synthpoppy industrial band called Factrix. Well, at least these tracks, like A is for Atom, and Six Eyes From Hell, are pretty synth pop. Kind of like a black humor version of Depeche Mode. Some tracks are just noise, sound collage, and sonic experiments.

This collection is too eclectic to appeal to a broad swath of people, but those interested in the histroy of Industrial music should have it, at least for reference."
