CD ReviewsA must have CD ! 11/25/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) ""Loose" from the MOB Trio is one of the best CD I have heard in years. It is fresh, full of surprises: envigorating in a scene where one gets easily blase by to "over-adventurous" or "beyond-dull" music offered to our ears. These guys are not afraid to take risks and their music remains always organic, swinging hard. Bob Bowen and Matt Wilson sound as if they had played together since birth and tenorman Ohad Talmor is one of the biggest surprise of the album: beautiful sound, great feel and his improvising denotes a strong compositional sense. Is this the guy who just wrote the music for the Lee Konitz album ("...and Axis String 4tet play French Impressionists"). He's incredible ! Also, the sound of the album is great; warm and clear. People, this CD is a must !"
