Product Description
"Action at a Distance" is the second album from the bay area band Mist and Mast. Formed by Jason Lakis after the break-up of his last band The Red Thread, Mist and Mast began as a solo project. On his first, self-titled album, Jason played all the instruments and recorded himself in his home studio in Oakland, California. Shortly after finishing recording, he enlisted friends to fill out the live band. On "Action at a Distance", the recording process was a bit different. Jason recorded about half himself, and half with the Craig Adams on guitar, Bill French on drums and Alex Steinhart on bass. The result is a louder, more full-band sound...more akin to their live shows.
