Excellent

"This truly is a great album. As a devoted fan of both techno (especially jungle/drum & bass) and hip-hop, I found Ming & FS expertly tying both styles together without watering down either of them. With Hell's Kitchen, Ming & FS prove to be expert producers of underground-flavored hip-hop ("U Ni Son", "CLS", "King's County"), jungle ("Brain Dead Amphibian Twins", "Rock Higher"), even acid jazz ("Bonus Round"), and big beat-style breaks ("Hijack the Disco").All in all, I'd say this is a superb album. The beats may get a bit tiresome after a while, though. I blame this not on Ming & FS but on the very natures of big beat and jungle themselves, which (in my mind) are not as subtle and layered as, say, IDM or ambient. But overall very entertaining--I'm sure Ming & FS' signature "junkyard" style will soon become heard everywhere as the group gains popularity."
Its wierd, but in a great way

"Hip-hop, jungle, and turntable crazyness all in one. It turns out to be quite a combination. It just makes me happy to know that outstanding styles are still being created. Ming and FS are definitely on top of things. Buy this if your looking for inovation."
Impressive...

"A marriage of hip-hop and drum 'n bass that actually works. Typically, such experiments (which sound fine on paper) sound lackluster on vinyl. Hell's Kitchen (like the name implies) is definitely a NY album with Big Apple influences...but it does have a tripadelic appeal like similar releases from across the pond. Furthermore, it is a dynamic album that keeps the listener's attention with thickets of meaty beats and mad-bombin' MCing."
