United States | 07/29/2001 (5 out of 5 stars) "columbia records,for what ever reason never recorded this great band. miles davis,wayne shorter,jack dejonette,chick corea,(on acoustic piano,no synths),and dave holland.the songs are miles standards. the performances are anything but standard. miles and wayne give you what you expect.(excellence) the reason to buy this disc is the rythym section. the chemistry is magic. dave holland plays so fast along side mr.dejonnete that time seems to stand still like the effects of a strobe light on a moving object. i would give it 24 stars, but thats not allowed."
