Adventure Music is celebrating the best of the holiday season with the reissue of Mike Marshalls solo acoustic guitar recording, Midnight Clear, a collection of twelve holiday classics. Marshall, one of the worlds most acclaimed acoustic artists, originally released this album in 1997 on the Acorn label. The twelve selections showcase Marshall at his most lyrical and graceful, as he performs such holiday favorites as We Three Kings, O Come All Ye Faithful, and Oh Hanukah on his 1966 Martin D-28 acoustic guitar. In the ten years since the CDs release, Mike Marshall has gone on to explore a variety of musical terrain for Adventure Music, from Brazilian choros to contemporary bluegrass. Marshall is widely acknowledged for his fearless exploits of the varied possibilities of both guitar and mandolin. He was a member of David Grismans quintet for five years, and was a founding member of the folk/chamber music group Montreux and of Psychograss.
