This CD will touch your heart!

"This CD's title is misspelled. It should sound as "Obeshchanie Lyubvi" (which means "The Promise of Love" in Russian).
Mikael Tariverdiev whose songs are featured on this CD is a well-known composer who wrote for operas and ballets, who created organ pieces and piano concertos.
But his music for Russian movies has so much of lyrical tenderness that it was and still is widely loved by legions of listeners. On this CD you will find beautiful songs written for the romantic comedy "The Irony of Fate" ("Ironiya Sudby" in Russian). They are based on the poetry of Marina Tsvetaeva, Boris Pasternak, Bella Akhmadulina, Evgenii Evtushenko, and will touch your heart, even if you don't understand the meaning of words..."
