Para Mejor O Peor: Mighty Purple Live
Genres: Pop, Rock
Mighty Purple does it again!!
(5 out of 5 stars)
"This CD is wonderful!! If you're looking for a CD that will keep you on your toes, and will always be up-beat, this is the CD for you. This awesome Connecticut Band has really outdone themselves this time. With excellent renditions of Brother, Flying Solo, Black Circles, Breathe, and Sick and Tired (and more!!), you'll be on your toes for a full 55 minutes. You really know they've outdone themselves when you hear the audience singing along to "Sick and Tired", and people screaming "Brother" before the song even starts. I was singing along through the whole CD...and I kept repeating songs. If you've never had the opportunity to see them in concert, this is the best way to put them in your own living room. This truely is a Purple experience. I promise you, you'll never regret buying this CD. You'll know all the words by the time you hear it once."
Mighty Purple: Ready to take the nation
(5 out of 5 stars)
"Mighty Purple. You mention that name in a crowd of people and someone is bound to know them. The music brings so many feelings out of you. Especially in songs like "Brother" and "Damn The Clouds." I first heard them in '97 At a show in my town called Augustfest. And now I here them on this new CD. They same tight harmononies are there. Having spoken to Steve from the band, you know they have their hearts set on making themselves know to this nation and to make a new sound that has brought together so many different genres and so many different people. Mighty Purple's unique sound can't be described by any other words than, "wow" Get their CD, Para Mejor o Peor, if you want to hear and feel the best thing since well...you get the idea."
Mighty Purple Is FINALLY Here
(4 out of 5 stars)
"I have been a fan of MP since 1994 and I can't say enough good things about them. While their 1995 studio album "Black River Falls" was excellent, the pinacle of an MP experience is seeing (or hearing) the band play live. The album captures the band both musically and personality-wise. I'm so happy that MP is finally getting the recognition that I feel they deserve..."
