"If you like very tasty, well done arrangements of some great old standards by a very fine small group, then this CD will not disapoint. After hearing this CD for the first time, I decided that I had to have it. This CD will leave you with a feeling of well being. Gary Foster is a fine woodwind player and plays about as perfect an Alto sax as you will ever hear. The rest of the group is just as good. I haven't heard a CD like this in a long time. I keep on going back to it after repeated listening. Do yourself a favor and invest your money into a very relaxing and satisfying piece of work. Here's hoping that this same group will decide to do another CD with the same amount of class."
The most beautiful Jazz Love Songs album I've ever heard !

"I was listening to NPR one night and heard The Midnight Jazz Band do a track off this CD and thought how wonderful it was. The next day, I went to my local music store, picked up the CD, and haven't put the disk down yet. If it's possible to degrade CDs due to extensive play, I'd be on my third copy by now.If you have the romantic spirit it you, and enjoy the sounds of piano along with a clarinet and a percussion ensemble, this CD has got the vibe! Great background music to candlelight dinners too!"
