"Shonen Knife is Japan's power pop female trio, who have been producing quality rock for many years now. Now come The Micragirls from Finland (guitar, organ & drums) who power pop their way into your hearts. All told, this is a nice debut double-album (which includes all of the Micragirls former EPs), but it could have been placed on 1 CD for $15, instead of on 2 CDs for $30. $30+ is a bit steep for the amount of music supplied, and the lack of included material (no jewel case, and no insert booklet). I would try to get this used, or find where the cost is less, unless you are a Micragirls fanatic. What you are paying for is the fact that this is an Import. Of the two CDs included, I liked the older of the two (CD2) with music from 2004-2003, which is from the first two Micragirls EPs, which have a rawer and less refined feel. CD1, with newer material, has lost the older material's edge. Still, an enjoyable 2 CD set, just a tad overpriced for what you are getting."
