CD Reviews

Re-recordings of RATT songs by Pearcy, Lynch, Guns, bastards
F. Furner | Tampa, FL | 03/19/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This is a collection of many of the Ratt hits and some Mickey Ratt songs rerecorded by Pearcy and his "rat (...)" with special guests Tracii Guns and George Lynch. Overall the rerecordings sound very good. I think "Ratt Madness"(never sounded better) and "Top Secret" (both lead by George Lynch) stand out in the bunch. Well, anyways if your a Ratt fan this is a good cd for cruising on a saturday. Just a good sounding cd with a lot of RATT music.

The dvd has Pearcy explaining some of the Ratt story but not much of it! The RATTails book will have that, and the dvd also has Pearcy monkeying around in a studio and just jamming on a guitar. The dvd is ok.

Much has been said over the years about SEPs voice, some even go as far to say that he could not make it thru a round on American Idol! Prolly true but I'm just thankful SEP is singing on this disc and not Britney Spears or Kelly Clarkson! I just can't imagine anyone else singing RATT tunes. His voice fits the style of metal/rock he sings and thats what counts."
COOL RELEASE FOR DIEHARDS
HELLDORADO69 | Houston, TX | 03/13/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This is a pretty decent release of re-recorded Ratt material by Pearcy. I enjoyed hearing Lynch and Guns play most of the leads as well. As for the dvd disc that is included, it is nothing special. It was just a bunch of fooling around in the studio and a really bad video which is why I gave this release a four instead of a five which I think is rather generous. All in all, if you liked Ratt, you should have this cd."
Mickey RATT - I said it...
D. Eaton | Freakin, NJ | 06/21/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Loved how this was almost immediately taken off the shelves as quickly as it was put on the shelves due to some legal mumbo jumbo. Can't we all just get along?? Pearcy was a member of Ratt at one time, and is again. But he couldn't use the double "T" because it was too close to the original. Ehhh... anyway, just rambling. A nice hits package. Worked up well. Must have for all fans."
