Synopsis

Album Description
Successful with his CD single CHRISTMAS IN CHICAGO, at all the AC, Pop stations in the Windy City, Michael Poss (sounds like Ross), continued his good fortune with the critically acclaimed 1996 full-length Pop debut release, I CAN FEEL YOU IN MY HEART. The former Chicagoan?s album consists of the fundamental ironic trials and tribulations all of us deal with in life, and in love. All of the tracks are original, except for one earthy, interpretive cover of Dave Clark Five's, Because. If you like the sounds of George Michael, Amy Grant, and Elton John, then you'll enjoy listening to Michael Poss' 1996 full-length Pop debut CD and cassette, which contains 12 tracks plus 2 bonus re-mixes now available from Twilight Souls Music recording label. His new CD release entitled SILVER SCREEN SERENADES, has just been released from Twilight Souls Music, and is also now available.

"I just got Michael Poss' third CD from Twilight Souls Music through his official, you know. I got it in three days, no problem. Check his site out! They except Visa and MC, too! They just got a new shipment of all of his CD's and sheet music. The new CD sounds great!"
Profound Metaphysical - Pop Love Songs From Michael Poss.
Connie Sanson | West Palm Beach, FL USA | 03/12/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"There's some pretty interesting material incorporating sophisticated melodies on this 1996 debut pop release by Michael Poss, a tall (6'2"), striking, All-American, tan "beach boy". The Southern California based singer-songwriter has included mostly original compositions on this recording, with some arranged and reminiscent of Britain's most famous 60's pop producer icon, Mr. Tony Hatch (of Petula Clark fame). Track highlights such as "I Can Feel You In My Heart", "Love, Look What You've Done To Me", and "Spell Of Desire" demand your attention. Michael Poss does a remarkable brilliant samba cover of the classic Dave Clark Five 60's standard "Because", that will put a smile on your face. Your audio senses will also be sensually aroused by some top notch Spanish guitar work on a couple songs, including "Because". You have to order a copy for your car and home, especially if you lived most of your wild teenage years in the 60's and early 70's. A must have for your CD collection!"
Metaphysical Pop Songs From Michael Poss

""Many writers sing, many singers write, but precious few can do both and pull it off. Lucky Michael Poss, he's a member of that select club... Michael obviously keeps up with news and issues that don't often find their way into cabaret, such as alien visitations (knew that'd grab your attention!). His "Area 51" is a fun little romp to Roswell, in which he is able to put a sort of X-Files spin on a funky little number..." -Joe Morris, Nightclub Patron"
