Cavanaugh is a charismatic performer, musician, and recording artist, made famous in Billy Joel's hit Broadway musical, "Movin' Out", from which he received numerous accolades, including Grammy and Tony nominations. He sees and hears music in color, hence the album title. This release features nine songs paying homage to the rock legends who have influenced him over the years: Pete Townshend, Bob Dylan, Billy Joel, The Michael Stanley Ban, Joe Cocker, Dave Mason, Led Zeppelin, and Big Joe Turner. While maintaining the integrity of the songs, Cavanaugh brought something new to them in his interpretations. Also includes four new songs.
