Good songs & good friends make for a good album

"Before the Michael Stanley Band, there was just Michael Stanley - singer/songwriter with an acoustic guitar & a backup band that included Joe Walsh and David Sanborne. Some albums and artists wear thin over time, but after 25 years, this is still one of my favorite Michael Stanley albums. Not only does this album have some great songs (in particular check out "Poets' Day"), but it is obvious that they had fun making this one. Well worth giving a listen to "on a cold Ohio morning...""
