I first picked up one of their LPs in Jamaica in 1972. The Merrymen represent the laid back Barbadian attitudes very well. Their music is melodic and beautiful in contrast to the driving political beat of reggae. Their music will take you away to a land of fun and sun. While visiting Barbados in the 80's I picked up several of their albums. THIS particular collection is a very nice sampling of their music. I recommend it highly."
