"Back in 1999 of September I saw Meredith in concert when she opened for 'N Sync on their 'Ain't No Stoppin Us" Tour. I thought she was incredible. She voice projected so much. When I found out she was just 15 I was even more amazed. "Rose Is A Rose" is a great song. It turly shows that she has got some great talent. She is sure to be a big hit. I'm glad that Lance(from 'N Sync) took her into his hands and gave her a wonderful oppertunity. Can't wait for her album."

"The power of Meredith's voice is marvelously showcased in her first single, "A Rose is A Rose". She emotes poignancy while the hook remains in your head long after the first listen. This song features a great message - particularly in these image-conscious times - by emphasizing that "beauty is a state of mind". Meredith is equally strong on the B-side of the single, the rollicking "Slow Learner"."
