"This CD by the acclaimed sean-nós singer Séamus Begley and Stephen Cooney is definitely one of the best albums around. Both Séamus and Stephen live in the Kerry Gaeltacht of Corca Dhuibhne where the Irish language still is used as the community language. Séamus is an excellent singer, and the three songs on this album, Máirín de Barra, Ar Bhruach na Carraige Báine and Beir mo Dhúthracht are all sung in his traditional Irish dialect. The dialect of Corca Dhuibhne has a reputation for being one of the most musical of all Irish dialects, and these songs clearly demonstrate that point. The other tunes are all instrumental, and performed in a way that shows great respect for and understanding of traditional Irish music. All in all, I would definitely recommend this CD to anyone with an interest in Celtic music, and escpecially to those who like Clannad, Altan or Capercaillie"
