The Meices Are Gone, But Not Forgetten!!!

"An Amazing album!!! I became a Meices fan due to the lead singer (Joe) and his new band, Alien Crime Syndicate. I first saw ACS at a small club in Portland in 1999, and became a huge fan instantly. After learning of Joe's old band, The Meices, and having heard some of their stuff sort of inadvertantly, I bought Dirty Bird and was amazed at how good this album was. Why they did not get more press and publicity when they were around I don't know. It is some of the best pop-punk/rock I have ever heard. Definitely buy this album. If you like the Meices, be sure to check out ACS as well, they have a similar style as the Meices, and are one of the best bands I have ever seen live."

"I just recently heard The Meices and they are the typical band that don't get the publicity that they deserve. Most people have never even heard of them but I assure you that if you just give them a try, you will like what you here. All of their tracks are really good. If you like stuff like MXPX and Homegrown, I am sure that you would enjoy them. COME ON, GIVE EM A TRY!!!"
