CD Reviews

Listen in front of a fire or dancing with my one and only.

"I read the other cust.review and agree.Megon's voice is captured beautifully (although I must say there's nothing like hearing and seeing her at a live performance, if you ever get the opportunity wether solo or with the "FOUR BABES"-what a show, take it ) and the improvs are really fun and jazzy cooool.I find myself listening over and over again in the car.I've driven on long trips and always include her cd's.Megon is so versitile in genre, its like having a custom made selection of styles (my style/taste(folk,POP,jazz) when I take her other cd's along for the ride/ie. american girl, blue star highway, four bitchin babes and several others I've collected. This is the first review I've written and it's led to a little self analysis, I guess I like listing to Megon's music in the car alot cause 1.my car system sounds great and 2.HER songs realy hit an emotional cord with my past and present and I prefer to be alone with the feelings and thoughts Sometimes. My One and Only is true to each song, hip and fun all in one and is my pick for a romantic dinner party."
A little bit of heaven here on earth

"You have to understand that I've been madly in love with Megon and her music ever since she was the winner of a Chicago-area "star search" contest as a teenager. Even her earliest albums (yeah, the vinyl kind) were incredibly powerful and went straight for the heart. And each one was better than the last. Well, in her concerts (solo, and with the Four Bitchin' Babes) she would often include some jazz/blues standards. Here, at long last, is a whole CD of them. All I can say is . . . WOW! I'm in love all over again."
Most enjoyable CD

"I had a vinyl LP of Megon's many ages ago (when we were both kids) and I found this CD trying to replace that old record (which I gather is not out on CD). She was more "folky" then as were we all. I really enjoyed her singing then and I do so now."
