"The review says SKIP THE CACAPHONOUS OPENING... but I say, it's the opening that makes this album great!

I love this album, i'm not crazy about everything these folks did, but this album really hit a mark for me.

It's both completely stressed out screaming guitar amps and my bloody valentine - sweet sounding but also menacing lyrics.

The backbeat is strong and interstingly for my taste, danceable.

The first cut, ONE MORE is a powerful 8 minutes or so of pounding hypnotic wail. The guitars maintain it throughout.

IT's visceral.

It's memorable.

Check it out, you'll see."

One of the Best Albums of the 90's

"This album is an absolute masterpiece and phenomenal from beginning to end. Although I would categorize it very loosely as shoegaze it is much brasher and louder with more feedback and slightly more uptempo (at times). This is the sound you would get from mixing Jesus and Mary Chains "Psychocandy" with My Bloody Valentines "Loveless". The vocals are wonderful and the melodies are superb. It breaks my heart that this album, which i consider one of the finest of the 90's in any genre, is so unknown and isnt even produced anymore. I know a handful of people who own this album and they love it as much as I do. Quality-wise I would rank it a notch or two below My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless" my favorite album of all time."

One of The Best Guitar Albums of The 90's

"Sonically, this album sounds amazing & innovative. From the opening cut, "One More," the ablum starts with a searing feedback drone that builds to more feedback then when you least expect it this heavy bassline comes in, then the guitars come in & pummel you & never let up, not even at the end. It just slides right into the next song "Aruca." Brad Laner is a genius musician & backed by the same as well. This album is very, very noisy but under all of it is great melodies and the nice vocals. The My Bloody Valentine(MBV) comparisons are endless. I can see why. But where MBV's noisy guitar sound, sounds like chainsaws immersed in water, MEDICINE'S noisy guitar sound which is twice as noisier, sounds like chainsaws cutting through steel. The last song, "Christmas Song" is just an epic song in ever sense. Must hear to believe. The entire album is an aural assault on the senses. If you like My Bloody Valentime, Bardo Pond, Sonic Youth or noisy guitars for that matter, this album is very, very essential. (I couldn't listen to the ablum all the way through. I had to give my ears a rest. The album is that noisy & loud. I'd suggest the same. Your eardrums will thank you.)"
