Ok, if you like metal music, there is no possible way you won't like this album. Maximum the Hormone hails from Japan and is the only band I can think of which has the opputunity to really cross-over into the States. That being said, most people will understandably find their way to this band from the anime Death Note, which is being aired on Cartoon Network fyi.

Anyway, this band has three singers: a rapper, the lead and a girl, all of which add a dynamic that is literally unheard of. The heavy parts are heavy and the lighter parts are catchy and uplifting. Where as most American Metal bands become cornered in their own box of medocrity, Maximum The Hormone has found a way to consitently sound fresh, new, and metal.

This is an amazing album that shouldn't go overlooked. O, and don''t worry about the language barrier, unless that is, your one of the few rare people who can actually understand screaming in metal songs. And yes, they do sing in both American and Japanese."

"This album is just awesome. Featuring last opening (what's up, people!!) and ending (Zetsubo Billy) from Death Note, powerful songs like "Koi no mega raba" and funny stuff like "Chu Chu Lovely Mun.." track 11, it's just one of the best j-rock album I've ever heard ^_^'
