One More River is my absolute favorite although I have to admit the rest of the tracks are filled with his soulful voice and if you have ever seen this man in concert live you will understand the "chemistry" that he has with HIS music! Keep up the good work and I am anxiously awaiting more!"

I have never been able to figure out why this incredibly talented man has not broken through..For my money, "If You Stay",is worth the price of the album alone.Produced with Glenn Frey,this is an essential addition for fans of AWB/Hall & Oates/Michael Mc Donald,et al..........."

"the best voice in pop, max is a legend waiting to happen. 'everything old. . .' is the best written pop song since maybe 'the pretender.' the groove of 'one more river,' the soul of 'hold on to your woman,' the energy of 'rollin' and tumblin',' this is one for the long haul. buy one for your mom. buy one for all your friends. buy one for your dog. repeated listening cures cold sores. buy this, and you WILL be a better human. . ."
