"mauro picotto has gone from tech trance to techno and they are "AWESOME" baguette is now a techno classic and back to cali and new time new place are widely know tech trance tracksif you don't like his techno songs i would recommend you listen to trance more, as techno is something that's not suitable for beginners, it's like listening to pop, then jumping straight to death metal"

"I've been a Picotto fan for many years now. Often referred to as "The Lizard Man", his works have been recognized for their hard/progressive style. You can never go wrong with a Picotto track in the club(Espcially when Picotto is spinning). You can't go wrong with this album either. This unmixed album contains such brilliant tracks as "Pulsar" and "Like This Like That" which have great beats and document Picotto at his finest. Other tracks like "Baguette" get into the more deeper progressiveness of Picotto. It is an amazing track but I do not reccomend it for the progressive-trance novice or anyone who doesn't like repetitive droning synths and hard drum-cuts. This CD is all of Picotto's greatest songs so you can't go wrong with any. So, give it a shot and open up to the progressive genre."
The best trance you can find!

"For all of you that like guys like Pauk Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold and BT, you must check Mauro Picotto, the king of trance! Here's proabably his greatest album, this self titled master piece. Picotto can make melodies like no one else and his addictive trance sound is unique. The hypnotic "Komodo" and "Proximus" are trance classics so they don't need any further explenation. "Lizard" is a bit simular to BT's "Flaming June" while "Like this like that" is yet another meliodic master piece. "Pulsar" sounds abit like Darude, faster with electronic voices. "Iguana" is also beautiful meliodic and at the same time hard. Picotto has a tendacey to build up the songs in a exelent way, sometimes you can hear the song for 2 minutes and then the explotion with the "hook" that often sounds completely diffrent from the rest, in this way you'll never get tired of his music. It's always a experience and never repetitive like some dance songs can be. If you at first don't like a song, don't skip cause there will always be pleasant surprises with Mauro Picotto. Almost every song is good here so if you're into trance you'll be listening for this record for weeks. Both relativetely slow and faster songs but always with the fantastic Picotto sound ofcourse "Ultimahora Ibiza" is one of the faster songs you'll dance all night too while there are several slower one's around too. it's a must have from one of the true artists of trance music!."
