This CD may very well put Detroit, Michigan back on the map in the music industry. Maurice takes us back, Yet he also gives us a glimpse into the future of true Rhythm & Blues. His remake of the Marvin Gaye Classic "Holdin Back the Years" Takes you back to the days of Motown. Though some of today's music has been tainted with cruel fads, trends, and loads of gorgeous women all of which try to camouflage otherwise mediocre entertainers, I trully believe that Marice J's "Devoted" is a return to true entertainment!"
