Exquisite

"I first heard this record years ago and fell absolutely in love with it. It was borrowed from a friend and I've only just recently been able to find it anywhere. The music is so beautiful, Mr Lien is such a talented musician and the whole record is a true work of art. My favorites are Flying Squirrel Creek and the title track; the first is a dancing joyous song as sprightly as the creatures it is named for and the second makes you feel all the tragedy of the wolf grieving for its lost mate. The preview leave a little something to be lacked; I don't feel they give the best overview of the music to really show it off to advantage, but you do get some good bits. I do love the flute in Bleeding Wolves (title track) so I was glad to hear that bit. I highly recommend this cd!"
