"The people who chose the songs for this CD did a top-notch job.



There is not a weak or dull song on the whole CD. Matt Monro's voice is crystal clear and beautifully resonant throughout.



Many of the songs are on the slow, largo or thougtful side, except for a few, like "I'll Take Romance" or "My Kind of Girl," which is the first track on the CD. This is not a criticism, just an observation.



I've listened to this CD innumerable times and will continue listening to it regularly. It is comforting music, pleasurable music, reflective music, and music that consistently displays an astonishingly rich vocal texture.



On the back cover it says that Frank Sinatra would listen to Matt Monro records when wanting to hear good music himself. It's clear he chose to listen to a Master. You'll know it once you listen to this CD. Frank Sinatra was Vivaldi to Matt Monro's Bach."
