CD Reviews

Well worth your money

"Obviously these are covers of some of your favorite Horror movie themes. While not as good as the original, most are worth listening to. This CD is a must have for halloween, especially since I have yet to find a compilation of the original horror themes.Surprisingly I really enjoyed the 2nd CD entitled "Music of the Vampires", but then I also enjoy much of the music in the infamous series of games known as Castlevania where you battle vampires. Normally any music I've ever heard labeled as "vampire music" has been amateur goth with some corny gothy singing. I find this is the first CD that hits the nail on the head when it comes to vampire music. And if I can track down more vampire music Matt Fink (author of these two CDs) has written, I would purchase it."

"When I bought this, I ended up disappointed. The mechanically reproduced versions of famous themes were terrible, Tubular Bells (the theme from The Exorsist) especially...HOWEVER....there was a second CD in the package. It is an all original piece called Music of The Vampires, and worth every penny you spend on this CD. I have three in my collection, just to make sure I never lose it. Every year since I first found it, I put this CD on before any others as I decorate for All Hallow's Eve.Enjoy, children of the night."
Better than a full movie soundtrack

"My wife and I first heard Horror Movie Madness while shopping in a Halloween store in 1999. As we walked around there was this beautiful background music playing. Turned out to be a cd the store was selling. Great marketing. Had to have it. Play it all year long. (We really love Halloween) You get the full taste of the main theme music of each movie. When More Horror Movie Madness came out we grabbed it. It is also excellent. Come one guys. It has been over three years! When is "Even" More Horror Movie Madness coming out? I am sure it will be another "gotta have it" and a complete sellout as the first two were."
