CD ReviewsHooray for Musicians and their activism! Julie van Amerongen | Marin County, CA | 04/29/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "I saw Matt Butler perform last night, opening a lecture for Julia Butterfly Hill, the woman who sat for over two years in an ancient redwood tree in Humboldt County. Matt is a great performer - centered, clear, confident - and his message of love as a way of life is a beautiful one. Many activists I've seen perform are activists first and musicians second - and it shows! Matt is a world class performer - with a message. And, he can play didgeridoo and drumset at the same time! Even though this album is instrumental, he's a great singer too. I encourage you to support this artist - who is supporting the environment and the planet at large. The world needs more Matt Butlers!" A Relaxing Groove Julie van Amerongen | Marin County, CA | 04/19/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "This is great music for relaxing, meditating or getting a massage. It grooves, but it's spacious too. The title might suggest a new age album with nature sounds, but it's not that at all. Highly recommended!"
