"Martin Stadtfeld is a first class talent, and his Bach recordings, especially, should be all the proof that anyone needs. So, pray tell, why is it necessary to hunt and search amid the (overpriced!) Amazon Associate sources to get ahold of his recordings in some form or another. I mean, they've only been out on the market for a few years. It's hardly time for "discontinued" or "OP" status. Shame on you, Sony! Young Martin will be around for a long time, and he deserves better handling than he's getting from your Suits.



P.S. This is a terrific set of performances. I haven't yet warmed to his Schubert recordings, but this Bach is impeccable, and truly jaw-dropping in the faster tempo pieces. Reminds me on Anthony Newman back in the day. Let's all bug Sony to get this young artist's CD's back into their catalog. And please adjust the prices to something more like reality."
