CD Reviews

Yay! They used to be my favorite band and this proves why.

"A sad journey through the heart and minds of Adam Levine and the band.

I listened to the samples here once I heard Makes Me Wonder a few times on the radio and on tv. I wasn't impressed in the slightest. I was shocked at how they "changed" and thought they needed to get "back on track".

Thank goodness something last month told me to give them a shot because I liked Wake Up Call once it became a single. I'm SO glad I bought the CD this time around! It's almost as good as Songs About Janes, if not on par.

Sure, the soulful Rock tunes are long gone, but the pop-laced rock tracks here are very thoughtful and interesting like the last bunch were.

I adore Little Of Your Time which is too short, and Nothing Lasts Forever, Wake Up Call, Better That We Break, Makes Me Wonder, Can't Stop and Goodnight, Goodnight as well as Not Falling Apart. (:

If I Never See Your Face Again (laid-back beat, but slightly forgettable) 4/5

Makes Me Wonder 4/5

Little Of Your Time 4.5/5

Wake Up Call 4/5

Won't Go Home Without You love the semi-descriptive lyrics. (The taste of her lips; I'll NEVER get over...) 4.75/5

Nothing Lasts Forever basically takes the hook from Adam's part in Kanye's Heard Em Say and plants it here. 5/5

Can't Stop heavier than the other songs. Little Of Your Time is close though. 4.25/5

Goodnight, Goodnight pleasant mid-tempo. I hear it at the grocery store I work at a LOT. 4/5

Not Falling Apart typical Maroon 5. But is that bad? Look at the score. (: 4.5/5

Kiwi one of the tracks I didn't like much at all at first. I guess it grows on you if you let it. I mean the more it plays the more it becomes tolerable and listen-able. Decent riffs at the end... 3.75/5

Better That We Break very solid. I listened to this one over and over again one night. Must be the production. Nope. It's the lyrics. Listening to it now. (: 5/5

Back At Your Door not the best track here and goes because it's kinda slow and putting it at the end was not smart. 3.75/5

Love Maroon 5 and this CD continues to prove why. I still DO prefer their first album but if you are a true fan, you will get or already have both of these albums. (:"
