Recently we purchased tickets online to a wine tasting with the Wine Tasting Association and I noticed that their site also sells the Mark Phillips DVD. He's great to listen to, but even more entertaining to watch! So, we purchased the DVD and also the pocket wine guide because it will be so much easier to keep track of our favorites this way instead of racking our brains trying to remember if we liked a particular wine. Mark Phillips takes the "fear" out of learning about wine while still keeping it informational and entertaining. Wine snobs are a bore, Mark Phillips' approach is refreshing! I am new to the wine scene and found the DVD on the PBS channel to be very informational. I watch it over and over just because I like the way it was presented.
