Unfortunately most German music I heard was in English, but when I pressed my friends to show me some truly great German music they put in Westernhagen. At first I was confused--so many different sounds coming from the same man--but soon I began to deeply admire the talent he displayed. It is nearly impossible to get bored with this disc; there are heavy gutteral songs and light slow songs, deep introspective songs and critical political songs. I especially recommend "Ich brauch ne Frau" and "Willenlos", "Unter meinem Fingernagel" and, of course, "Es geht mir gut"."
