Mappmundi is a gleeful band, based in CHapel Hill NC, specializing in "More-or-less Traditional Music of the Northern Hemisphere and the Previous Millennium." From the first cut (a foray into the Cajun Balkan gentre) to the last (an Elizabethan text set to a shape-note hymn, done oldtime style), this is the world music that makes us happiest.
