Boston based synergetic rockers Mals Totem released their self-titled debut EP today. It was recently called "The best initial release I ve heard since ... well ... ever." by Louder Than War. The EP features five original songs, including the single Gargantuan, which the band released a live studio video for earlier this year. Gargantuan was a collaborative effort between George Massenburg (engineer for Journey, Earth Wind and Fire, Billy Joel), Susan Rodgers (producer for Prince), Jonathan Wyner (David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Nirvana), Raul Chirinos (Berklee College of Music) and the band members. The EP also features a reimagined powerhouse version of Radiohead's Jigsaw (Falling Into Place)'.
