"see above.......this album has real staying power, well-constructed songs, an intelligent but essentially unpretentious vibe. You can get these for pretty cheap it seems------what are you waiting for? About twice as good as their follow-up, evidently they did what they had to do here, but it's really preety good! Dreamlike, yet righteously rockin'."

"Like other reviewers, Only Dreaming was my introduction to this band. It continues to be one of my favorite CD out of hundereds. As an artist, I find it to be an interesting background to paint to. Their second CD is almost as good. Very highly recommended. Best cuts are 20th Century Zen, Only Dreaming, Shimmering, introverted Skies, And Play Inside."

A rare find for fans of spacy music with hooks

"I found a promo copy of this CD a few years ago, after hearing Only Dreaming on a compilation CD. It caused me to have a renewed interest in buying music. I had been very bored with my purchases, but this CD woke me up! Everything good about fuzz, wah wah, extended breaks, psychotic lyrics, and an edge of self humor is here. It is rare to find such an excellent blend of songwriting and playing on a debut. This makes my all time top 10 CD list, and I have hundreds."
