CD ReviewsMaidens IV Colleen Bachna | NE OHIO | 09/09/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Traditional Celtic, Renaissance, & Irish Folk songs on this CD. I discovered it when I saw the sisters from rural Ohio at a concert this summer. A 4th sister had joined the group & now they are Maidens IV. The acoustic sounds of the viola, violin and guitar along with the heartbeat of the bodhran is never tiring or dull and leaves you wishing the CD was longer. Their 4 part harmony on the slower songs such as "Snowbird" was perfect, & the lively jigs such as "Swallowtail Jig" are fast, spirited & fun. It's hard to believe the sisters are so young, & hopefully they will be together a while to make some more."
