"This is one of the finest Mahalia compilations to date. Included in this two-disc set are two selections ("God's Gonna Separate the Wheat from the Tares" and "Oh, My Lord") from Mahalia's VERY FIRST recording session in 1937. It also includes a complete listing of the composers and recording dates for each of the each of the 50 selections in this set. Mahalia always sang with such strong conviction and you, the "listener" will be lifted through her renditions. Purchase and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!"
