CD ReviewsAnother winner from Maeror Tri W. G. Hardy | 05/08/2002 (4 out of 5 stars) "I guess that the over-used term Post-Industrial kinda describes this. It most definately has it's roots embedded in Industrial (not the cheapo imitation stuff offered by the likes of NIN, Ministry etc).
It's dark, it's ambient, it's minimal. It is also sometimes a little grating, but that's ok, I quite like that. There's not vocal to be heard - thankfully.This is not their best album, by quite a long way, in my opinion. I prefer their earlier work (such as the wonderful "Myein", "MPD" and "Ambigutas"), which is a little rougher around the edges. This album is a little more polished that what has gone before, and loses something (not too much) for that." |
