"Mads Eriksen has an amazing talent for playing guitar, and he really shows that on his latest label "Suburban Cowboy", a remakable instrumental album.I can't understand why he isn't more famous. His shred-technique are of top world-class, with a sound like Joe Satriani and Eddie van Halen.I would highly recommend this album by the Norwegian guitar-playing God!!"

"The only thing I regret is not writing this sooner. Mads Eriksen is one of the best instrumental guitarists I have heard, and I own hundreds of instrumental recordings. He actually has four previous albums, all incredible, all of which I felt surpassed Satriani, Beck, etc. He is incredibly diverse, imaginative, and melodic, with astounding shift changes and sonic aptitude. If you like Steve Vai, Mads Eriksen will give you new reasons to be amazed. For a few years I exchanged letters with Mads after he generously sent me his CD's, and I was shocked by his humanism, modesty, and appreciation for listener support. It's a shame he hasn't become more widely recognized, for I can truly say every song on every album I listened to was inspired, wreckless, thrilling, and intensely emotional. Mads is a guitar wizard who deserves to be in the top league of instrumentalists."
