"can never say enough about the range&drive of Luther Vandross? The Man has been the real deal for many many years now.while i prefer his 80's stuff overall better his Music&sound have stayed Signature.he is a solid Song-Writter,Arranger,Producer&Vocalist.He is a Great Talent that can blow many folks off the stage.WHen He gets his Groove back He will be Scary.Never to much is still the jam.this is only a minor fraction of his jams but still worth having."

"This is another cash in on Luthers fanbase and it completely fails. He already had like 4 hits CDs already when this came out so there is absolutely no need for this. However I like that they decided to put the awesome Heaven Knows. Thats one of my favorites from Luther Vandross. The only reason I give this a five is that I don't want to skew the rating of this CD. Absolutely no need for this album at all. The same goes for The Ultimate Luther Vandross CD as well. You're better off getting all of Luthers parent albums even if you shell out a lot of cash. End Of Story."
Luther is comparable to NO ONE......

"This CD is filled with some of Mr. Vandross's greatest hits. I am talking about those songs you'll hear on the radio in the evening, when you're sitting by a warm fire with someone you love. These are some of the best romantic tunes around. They are made so romantic by that wonderful, velvetty, achingly romantic voice and Luther's original, heartfelt and sincere musical interpretation.

The album starts off with "Never Too Much." That song has a catchy, wonderful beat and sounds very 1981 in the arrangement. Nevertheless, it doesn't sound dated. Luther is funky, fresh and the arrangement is totally fun. You'll want to get up and dance! "Power of Love/Love Power," "Don't Want to Be a Fool," and "Always and Forever" are romantic, filled with gospel influences and truly one of a kind Luther. Luther's songs speak of the highs and lows of romance, all the while appealing to young and old. Wonderful!!!!"
