When most of today's Doom bands are just poorly sounding copies of copies because sounding **** seems like the only way to sound old-school, The gear fanatics and production fetishists The Lumberjack Feedback are taking the complete opposite way with a cristal clear recording thanks to the Electrik Box studio (Sektemtum, Insain...) and mastering wizardry courtesy of Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice...) and a utterly progressive and forward thinking cinematic songwriting pushing the genre's boundaries with their two drummers -which are both definitely bringing their own playing style rather than playing the same thing together- and the incorporation of Post Rock, Progressive Metal, Sludge Metal or Stoner Rock to the formula. After 2013's Hand of Glory, mastered by Billy Anderson (Cattle Decapitation, Neurosis, Cathedral...), 2014's Ausstellung collector split EP with WE ALL DIE (laughing) and 2015's Noise in the Church live EP, mastered by Remyboy (Gojira...) and European tours and gigs with the likes of Jucifer, Acid King, Weedeater, Philm, Depethrone and Lucky Funeral, THE LUMBERJACK FEEDBACK are releasing what will definitely be a landmark of the pregressive Doom scene with their Blackened Visions debut full-length.
