Lulendo, from Angola, centers his music on the play of a traditional African instrument: likembe aka sanza or quissange.Lulendo is a very endearing singer, whose voice of falsetto, of an absolute correctness, evokes often that of Papa Wemba, whom he accompanied. He has frequented the religious choirs of Luanda, which seems to be reflected in the very refined harmonization of the voices of this album.
