Fantastic new band from the lucky country

"This is a fantastic release from a great and relatively new Australian band. They are definitely not another Bloc Party or Interpol clone band. However, they are definitely influenced by the same sort of bands: Gang Of Four, Joy Division, The Cure, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Slits, Birthday Party, etc.

They have a dark vibe overall and frankly, I do not see them becoming nearly as popular as other recent post-punk styled bands. Matador will not be cashing in on this band as they nowhere near as radio friendly as Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, or even the Futureheads. However, I think Matador has done us all a great favor by bringing these guys out of the woodwork.

Love of Diagrams certainly deserve your attention. I cannot stop listening to this CD. Additionally, I saw these guys twice in Chicago and they were a fantastic live band. Hopefully they get a good Pitchfork review so people actually pay attention to them!"

Great Post Punk

"Reminds me a lot of Les Savy Fav (only with a female lead vocal)- fast tempos, lots of distortion, and plenty of hooks. The sound is raw and full of energy. Probably the best album I've heard in 2007 and better than other recent albums put out by such British bands as the Rakes, the Klaxons, and Bloc Party."
