CD ReviewsA Rare Treat Nathan Steward | 05/30/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "A very rare album on any format (even i only own it on vinyl) of some performances by lou in late 74'. probably the best live cuts of any of reeds work. this album gives you a great feel of what a night with lou was like in his glam days. great quality of recording and reeds interaction with the crowd through most of the songs make it #1 for me. the real stand outs here are "sweet jane", "satellite of love", a wonderfully bluesy 10+ minute rendition of "waiting for the man" and his telling of how he wrote "walk on the wild side" while it's played. a must for any reed/velvets fan."
