Lost Lake's debut CD features 13 all-original instrumental tracks. The music takes its inspiration from Surf and instrumental bands of the sixties and seventies and combines that with psychedelia, spaghetti western sensibilities, rock and roll riffs, and a spirit of improvisation. The result is a moody brew that sounds both modern and familiar. Or, as one fan described the music, "The Ventures meet David Lynch." The CD was independently released by the band and Smack Daddy Records.
